Meet our founder: Valeria Trevino

Assalamu alaikum! I’m Valeria, the founder of The Nour Company. I started this business with a simple mission: to foster community and bring more representation of Muslim voices, stories, and faith-inspired products into the world. My goal goes beyond my passion for product design — I aim to create meaningful experiences that connect and uplift our community.

I’m an illustrator and designer at heart, and I love creating beautiful stationery, faith-inspired products, and children’s books that inspire and educate. But what truly excites me is using my skills and resources to bring people together. I love hosting classes and workshops for sisters, because it’s not just about learning a new skill — it’s about creating safe spaces where Muslim women can meet, make new friends, and share memorable experiences.

Through The Nour Company, I also host workshops and one-on-one consultations to help other entrepreneurs gain the skills they need to succeed in their ventures. Collaboration is at the core of my work — I’ve partnered with organizations like the American Muslim Community Foundation’s Women Giving Circle to cohost events about the power of collective giving, and with Aqra Travel to lead sisters-only Umrah trips, offering spiritual journeys centered on sisterhood.
